SUREPOLL
WIRELESS GPRS BACKUP
WIRELESS BACKUP FOR ALARM SIGNAL REPORTING
The
latest backup technology available is the Surepoll SED62
Wireless Polling System. The Surepoll SED62 is a device
which can be fitted to all major security alarm systems
to enable a higher level of back-to-base security monitoring.
Until now, alarm monitoring has been traditionally limited
to communicating to our monitoring station via standard
telephone land lines. If the telephone line is cut, or
simply breaks down there is no other way for your security
system to transmit alarm signals. While in many cases
this method of monitoring is sufficient, some applications
require a more secure alternative.
The
SED62 connects directly to your existing security system
and immediately provides a higher level of security over
the traditional method. A 'poll' is transmitted every
90 seconds from your system over the GPRS network. If
the telephone line is cut, a wireless signal is immediately
transmitted over the GPRS network and acted upon by our
security operators.
